A journey of rich Cuisine of Punjab influenced by the settlers and invaders entering the Country . Punjabi food shows the influence of the bounty of harvest of rich fertile land and the love for food of the Punjabis. It reflects the extensive use of tandoor brought by Arabs, the incorporation of spices which is mildly use to get out the aroma. The cuisine reflects the extensive use of dairy products in it’s cooking.
The diet revolves around Ghee, Curd and paneer and it reflects on the daily meals. No meal is complete without a dairy product. Who can forget Chole Bhatura, Chola Kulcha, Makai ki roti with sarson Ka saag with generous amount of ghee and freshly churned dollops of butter. Tandoori chicken to tikkas which has taken the world by it sheer briliance. Butter chicken a spin of from Using a tikka or tandoori chicken in a rich gravy which is Silky to the pallete.
